-The Confluence Collaborative

Join us for the final session of our four-part Confluence Collaborative Community Café series, which brings together faculty, community partners, and youth-serving organizations to move from shared understanding to collective action. This fourth café will take place on July 10 from 9:00-12:00PM in the Delmar DivINe.

The Confluence Collaborative is launching a Community of Practice (CoP) for community-engaged teaching and learning. This CoP is a gathering of faculty and staff engaged in shared learning and thought partnership around community-engaged education. Learn more about this initiative and demonstrate interest here.

Join us as WashU launches its campus-wide initiative to pursue the Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement—a national recognition of institutions deeply committed to community partnership and impact. This kick-off event will bring together faculty, staff, students, and community partners to celebrate WashU's community engaged mission and help shape the path ahead. Details and an RSVP to come.

BMC Cancer, an open access peer-reviewed journal, has a call for submissions on "Community and patient engagement in cancer research." Submissions are open through January 27, 2027. Call for Proposals: 2027 ACE Annual Meeting. The American Council on Education (ACE) invites you to submit a proposal for the 2027 ACE Annual Meeting, the central gathering of the ACE Experience 2027 (ACEx2027)—a bold and transformative convening where college and university leaders come together to address the sector’s most urgent challenges. The ACE Annual Meeting is the cornerstone event of the ACE Experience 2027 (ACEx2027) in Washington, DC, March 3–7, 2027.
