From the high-energy Battle of the Bands to the spirited tailgate and game day festivities, the campus was alive with excitement and connection.

What an incredible celebration! Our community came together in full force at the basketball game, and the energy was electric. The highlight of the game? The reveal of the new Ozzie!

From the moment Ozzie stepped onto the court, the crowd erupted with cheer, marking the beginning of a new era of UNF pride and tradition. Students, alumni, faculty and staff packed the stands, showing off their blue and gray to create an atmosphere that truly embodied what it means to be an Osprey.

Highlights from the Week:

On a night filled with pride, gratitude and inspiration, the Alumni Recognition Awards: Night of "Nestalgia" celebrated the outstanding achievements of our Osprey alumni. Held at MOCA Jacksonville, the event brought together alumni, faculty, staff and friends to honor those who exemplify the spirit of UNF through their leadership, service and impact.

Alumni from the classes of 1975, 1985, 1995, 2005 and 2015 gathered at the UNF Boathouse for an evening of celebration and reconnection. The Reunion Milestone Mixer honored the memories and achievements that have shaped their lives and careers, creating a space for laughter, storytelling and heartfelt conversations. From sharing favorite campus traditions and professors to reflecting on personal and professional highlights, the event showcased the enduring Osprey spirit and strong bonds that unite our alumni community.

Alumni, students and fans packed the stands to cheer on the Ospreys to a thrilling victory, but the biggest moment came at the start of the game with the official reveal of Ozzie’s brand-new look. The lights dimmed and the spotlight hit center court as Ozzie strutted out in style, unveiling a fresh, modern look that blends tradition with bold new flair.

North Florida Men’s Soccer earned its second consecutive Atlantic Sun Tournament Championship title after a match-clinching goal in overtime against Bellarmine, 3-2, on Saturday evening at Hodges Stadium. Paul Schacherer scored the decisive goal in overtime after earlier strikes from Rentaro Miyakawa and Anton Khelil. This marks the program’s third title in history (2015, 2024, 2025), with multiple Ospreys named to the All-Tournament Team.
