Jason Moon Holds the Keys to Friendly Service
Jason Moon (he/him) with Dollar Car Rental was nominated by a PDX traveler.
"Jason at the rental counter went above and beyond to help me…and I was an already frustrated traveler. It was late, I had already missed one flight and the next flight was delayed six hours.
When I arrived at PDX, I was sure Dollar would be closed as the website says the car rental counter closes at midnight and it was almost 1 a.m. But Jason was at the counter, still working with a few people in line! Jason honored my reservation which was clearly expired by this point. When I thanked him for staying open to help, he smiled and said he understood how stressful flying can be and he'd help everyone in line, even if they didn't have a reservation.
When I shared my experience with a relative, they said they had also used Dollar and had a great experience. I appreciate that Jason made me feel genuinely welcome to be renting a car so late in the night. He ensured Dollar will be my first choice in the future."

Meet the Ticket Hall
Meet the ticket hall, the new entrance to your favorite airport! Here are a few things to know about the new space.
  • Ask your team's Champion for an interactive map. Maps are tailored to specific organizations and roles and designed to help you learn your way around.
  • There are two paths for passengers entering and exiting the ticket hall – use existing elevators and escalators to access the deplaning level.
  • Baggage scales are at every check-in counter position.
  • Dynamic displays are behind every ticket counter and change for each airline and type of service.
  • Wheelchair assistance areas for passengers are on each airline aisle.
  • Airline ticket offices will vary by airline, but every office will include time clocks, break rooms, offices and locker rooms. These offices are on both ends of the ticket hall.
  • Concessions and retail shops in the ticket hall will include Portland Coffee Roasters, OROX Leather Co., Missionary Chocolates and The Country Cat.
