Welcome to a new semester! The start of the semester is always an exciting time—whether you're an incoming student beginning your college journey or a returning student ready to dive into another year. It’s also the perfect moment to get involved, find your community, and step outside your comfort zone.

Office of Student Engagement (OSE) supported the execution of the Spring 2025 Student Government Association (SGA) Elections for the 2025-2026 academic year with record-breaking voter turnout of 1,673 undergraduate students, a 531% increase from last year's 265 voters.Â
|
“SGA has truly been a transformative experience. It's helped me find my voice, strengthen my leadership skills, and connect more deeply with the campus community. I've learned how to advocate, how to collaborate, and how to lead with both purpose and empathy. What started as an unexpected opportunity has become one of the most meaningful and empowering parts of my college journey-and I'm incredibly grateful for it." - SHU Student
