Dear Tulane Faculty and Staff:
To allow our uptown faculty and staff time to gather their personal belongings and prepare for the resumption of virtual classes on September 13, faculty and staff will be allowed to access their offices between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8 and Thursday, September 9. This will be your only opportunity to enter uptown campus buildings until on-ground operations resume.
We strongly encourage employees to enter their offices, retrieve their necessities, and depart campus as soon as possible. Parking will only be available in the Diboll Parking Garage and spaces are first come, first served. Howard-Tilton Memorial Library will not be open, and no other campus services are currently being provided.
Many of our buildings are currently undergoing remediation and repair, and it is imperative that you take all stated safety precautions. To ensure your safety and compliance, TUPD, the Office of Emergency Preparedness & Response, and Facilities Services will monitor buildings during this time. Please avoid wearing loose clothing and jewelry as well as flip flops or open-toed shoes. Take stairs when possible; if ADA accommodations need to be made, please contact emergencyprep@tulane.edu.
Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you back to campus soon,
Randy Philipson Vice President, Facilities, Campus Development & Real Estate
