The documentary film BAD RIVER will be screened at The Triplex Cinema in Great Barrington as part of BIFF’s Environmental Film Focus Series, in collaboration with Roaring Brook Family Foundation. A Q&A will follow. Narrated by Quannah ChasingHorse and Edward Norton and directed by Mary Mazzio, the film chronicles the Wisconsin-based Bad River Band and its ongoing fight for sovereignty. Join Monterey's historical society, library, and Bidwell House Museum for two programs celebrating the 250th anniversary of Henry Knox’s Noble Trail of Artillery. On Saturday at 10 a.m., there will be a guided walk on the Knox Trail. And on Thursday at 8 p.m., Tom Ragusa will talk about how he has traced and marked the Knox Trail for eight miles and his effort to get it listed on the National Register. More info
