Jason Greiner began his role as an Administrative Services Assistant in the Office of Student Success as a temporary employee in early January of this year, and transitioned to full time on September 1st. As an Administrative Services Assistant he assists when and where he is required, whether administratively or physically, to complete each assigned task and project. Jason is from Memphis, and is passionate about any art involving fibers, threads, and fabrics. He enjoys traveling to new places, exploring the scene, and meeting locals across the country.

Terry Wayne Wallace, began his position as a Mathematics Learning Specialist in August. Originally from Northeast Arkansas, Terry has a bachelor’s in mathematics from the University of Central Arkansas and a master’s in mathematics from Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He worked in mathematics for five years developing ACT curriculum for a local tutoring company, and later moving to China to take a position as an international school instructor. As a Mathematics Learning Specialist he provide not only general academic support to UT Health Science Center students, but also specialized support in mathematics to ensure that all students can succeed in their fields. Terry is passionate about math education and giving students the confidence to excel mathematically.
"I want my students to come away from our meetings having a good understanding of how the math actually works, and not just trying to memorize an algorithm. I’ve always enjoyed tutoring students, and there’s such a feeling of success when you’re able to meet with a student struggling with a topic and leave them feeling confident."
In his free time Terry enjoys fire dancing with poi, and has not set himself on fire in any sort of serious way while fire dancing.
