5th Annual Bay Area Swiss Artists Show
For the 5th year in a row the Misho Gallery is hosting the Bay Area Swiss Artists Show with more than 8 Swiss artists of the region. Join us for the Vernissage of the show to meet the artists and see their newest art while enjoying a reception hosted in the honor of the artists, provided by this Consulate General.
Artists: Marianne Kolb, Sylvie Serrex-Bonnet, Jorge Bachman, Max Kellenberger, Kathrin Blatter, Daniel Leu, Jean-Benoit Levy, Monika Steiner, Misho and more!
The show runs through December 19th, 2016.

Everyone a Humanitarian: Launch and Party
Join us for the launch of “Everyone a Humanitarian,” an event series inviting technologists, creatives, diplomats, entrepreneurs, and innovators to explore new collaborative forms of humanitarian action. Special guests including Yves Daccord, Director-General of the International Committee of the Red Cross, discuss the future of humanitarian action and new opportunities to contribute to some of the world’s most difficult challenges. The exhibition will run from January 10th, 2017 - March 31st, 2017.

Panel and Fundraiser: The Future of Learning
On December 10th, join us for this interactive panel discussion as young learners are putting thought-leaders in academia and technology on the hot seat with their questions, hosted by San Francisco – Zurich Sister City and ETH Alumni of the Bay Area at The Laundry in San Francisco. Panelists include Ralph Eichler, President Emeritus of ETH Zurich, David Stavens, founding CEO of Udacity, and more!
After the Panel, a Fundraising Dinner and a Silent Auction will follow, with musical entertainment. Meet like-minded supporters and friends of the community, and get to taste a piece of Switzerland. For this part of the evening, a ticket is required. Get it here.

Installation: Seven Magic Mountains
Internationally renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone’s Seven Magic Mountains is a large-scale site-specific public art installation located near Jean Dry Lake and Interstate 15, approximately ten miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada. The installation, consisting of seven fluorescent boulder piles will be on display until May 2018 and is produced by the Nevada Museum of Art and the Art Production Fund.
