Global Plant-Forward Lunch Pop-Ups

From Monday, March 7, through Friday, March 11, in support of the Global Tufts Month theme "A Call to Action: Global Perspectives on Climate Change," our Dining Centers will feature plant-forward recipes inspired by dishes from around the world each day at lunch. We'll have Haitian Rice and Beans with Plantains, Ethiopian Teff Stew and Mesir Wat, Thai Coconut Curry, Indian Palak Paneer, and more! Check menus.tufts.edu for full daily menus.

GRAP Summer Research Opportunities Zoom Office Hours

Drop by on Monday, March 7, or Wednesday, March 9, at noon and chat with GRAP faculty members. The Monday session will feature Lenore Cowen (French Polynesia), and the Wednesday session will include faculty members whose work will focus on Greece, French Polynesia, Malaysia, and the UK. These informal sessions are a great time to learn more about their projects and ask any questions. GRAP is open to all Tufts undergraduates in their first, second or third year of study. Apply for the program by March 15!

Academic Reminders

School of Engineering drop-in advising will be available at the Kindlevan Café on Thursday, March 10, at 10:30–11:30 a.m. Liberal Arts drop-in advising will also be available throughout the week.
Engineering undergrads: join Dean Stephan and the Senior Academic Advisors for the School of Engineering for a Beyond Your Major workshop on Wednesday, March 9, at 12 noon1 p.m. on Zoom. The workshop will cover opportunities to enhance your education beyond your major. Topics will include areas of co-curricular opportunities in research, internships, study abroad, extra major/minor and double-counting, scholarships, and extracurricular activities such as community service, leadership, and mentoring.

Law Day on the Hill  Balancing the Scales of Justice in Criminal Law

Join us virtually on Thursday, March 10, at 6 p.m.The evening begins with introductions and a panel discussion focusing on current issues in criminal law and procedure. The discussion will include panelists (a judge, former prosecutor, defense attorney, and law professor) sharing their experiences and insights on policy and practical issues related to criminal law. The evening wraps up with time for all to speak in more detail about their careers, law school, etc., in breakout rooms.
