Rev. Dr. Otis Moss Jr.
Theologian, pastor, and civic leader
Moss Jr. has dedicated his life to advocating for civil rights and human rights. Prior to his retirement, his distinguished pastoral service included 33 years as senior pastor at Olivet Institutional Baptist Church in Cleveland and a year as co-pastor with Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Sr. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. Moss Jr. previously worked for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as regional director of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. He has honored King Jr.'s legacy by serving as a national board member and trustee of the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change. Learn more.

Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III
Senior Pastor, Trinity United Church of Christ
Moss III preaches in the tradition of Black theology and consistently speaks to the issues of mass incarceration, environmental justice, and economic inequality. In addition to serving as senior pastor at Trinity United Church of Christ, Moss III is the founder of Unashamed Media Group, for which he received an NAACP Image Award, and the author of Blue Note Preaching in a Post-Soul World: Finding Hope in an Age of Despair. The work and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the pastoral ministry of his father, Rev. Dr. Otis Moss Jr., inspire and guide his activism. Learn more.

Following their keynote remarks, Moss Jr. and Moss III will be joined in conversation by Rev. Dr. Maurice Charles, Dean of Rockefeller Chapel. 
The Chicago Children's Choir – Voice of Chicago Ensemble will offer music for the occasion.
