Duffy Publishes Open Letter to Crawford about SB1 |
John-Charles Duffy wrote a powerful open letter to President Crawford in the latest issue of The Miami Student, in which he pressed Crawford on his public stance about diversity, equity, and inclusion. Historically, Crawford has been public in his avowal to champion programs and initiatives that promote diverse perspectives, saying these are central to Miami's identity and mission. But Duffy calls attention to the administration's conspicuous silence on the attacks on these perspectives that SB1 introduces.

What should faculty and students expect?
