Fresh strawberries made their big debut at the market this past weekend! These beauties, grown by Alex at Bernhardt's Farm, aren’t your average grocery store berries. They are picked at peak ripeness—often just a day before you buy them—so they’re sweeter, juicier, and red all the way through. Grocery store strawberries have to travel farther and last longer, which means they’re picked early—and you can taste the difference.
Treat yourself to a pint (or two...or three...) this weekend and enjoy nature’s candy, straight out of the container, from the farmer who grew it. Pro tip: they tend to sell out fast, so arrive early!
