We hope this message finds you well as Summer begins. It's been an active start to the year here at Housatonic. Below are a few highlights from our portfolio, team, and community.

Portfolio News
In March 2026, Housatonic completed the sale of a leading provider of outsourced intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) services to hospitals and surgical groups across the eastern seaboard. Housatonic partnered with the company through nearly a decade of regional expansion, clinical team scaling, and continued investment in patient safety and surgical outcomes.

Also, in March, Chris Woltz stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer at KeepingCount, a Housatonic portfolio company. Chris joined Housatonic in September 2024 as an Operating Partner and Executive in Residence, where he supported sourcing initiatives across potential software and business services investments. He brings strong operating experience from prior roles as CFO of Case IQ (formerly i-Sight) and COO of Efficient Hire, where he led finance and operations across growth-stage software businesses.

In April, Abound Health President Jenna Whigham sat down with the Acquiring Minds podcast to share what it's taken to build a leading provider of in-home care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, medically complex children, and elderly clients. We've been fortunate to partner with Jenna and her brother Dennis since 2020 and remain inspired by the team's commitment to both operational excellence and the deeply human work they do every day. In May 2026, Housatonic completed a dividend recapitalization of FIMC, a leading provider of auto club memberships offering roadside assistance and related consumer protections, distributed through consumer finance partners nationwide. The transaction reflects FIMC's continued strong performance and durable membership growth under CEO Brian Williams.

We remain committed to backing business builders in vertically focused software, business services and healthcare services. We are currently supporting the executives below through our Executive In Residence Program:

We are thrilled to welcome Sean McSweeney to the Housatonic team as part of our EIR program. Sean is leading a thematic search focused on acquiring tech-enabled services platforms serving healthcare payors and providers. He brings deep operating and founder experience across healthcare technology, including as Co-founder and CEO of Cobalt Health, an RCM and medical billing services company he scaled to 150+ FTEs with a 60%+ five-year revenue CAGR before its sale to Coronis Health (Veritas Capital). Sean was also Founder and CEO of Apache Health, an RCM predictive-analytics and AI software company, and most recently served as CEO of Voyant Health. He holds a BA in Engineering & Physics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
