We’d like to provide an update on the ERP selection process. We continue to work through our decision process and intend to select OHIO’s next Enterprise Resource Planning platform in the coming months.
The decision process includes reviewing concerns that arose during the vendor demonstrations, talking with peer institutions that have implemented each platform, and negotiating pricing. We plan to meet with each vendor again in the upcoming weeks to clarify and resolve our remaining concerns.
We appreciate your participation and feedback and the thoroughness of all involved to ensure we choose the best solution for OHIO.
Updated timeline
As we continue to learn more and assess the scope of the work ahead of us, we have adjusted the implementation timeline by one year to ensure a successful implementation.
During the next 12 months, we will select a system implementation partner and identify and execute preparatory projects, such as establishing data governance processes, redesigning our chart of accounts, and implementing position management.
The formal implementation process, marked by the start of an engagement with a system implementation partner, will begin in January 2027, with the go-live date for HR and Finance platforms shifting to January 2029.
