April is National Brunch Month. Here are some lists of best brunch spots in Philadelphia, as well as in New York City and across the U.S.  Because April is fickle, this month is also National Financial Literacy Month. This means that while we’re dining out, we need to remember that brunch is more expensive than breakfast or lunch.

On the Lighter Side
Today is National Caramel Day. Enjoy your favorite brands before litigation makes them scarce.

After 15 years, Ben & Jerry’s Dublin Mudslide ice cream has returned; while Peeps ice cream is here, but only until May.

Now you can take your dog out for ice cream, too.

Litigation is a Cost of Doing Business

Litigation has become a fact of life in every sector of the economy. Walmart has sued BJ’s, alleging the wholesaler has stolen Walmart’s checkout scanning tech. GameStop is defending a lawsuit alleging the company hasn’t paid one of its’ consultants; at stake, $30 million. Keystone Light rebranded to Stone in order to increase sales. The effort backfired to the tune of a $56 million jury award in favor of Stone Brewing, a craft brewery, for trademark violations. Even before a suit is filed, some professionals are finding out that mistakes can be costly.

If you need assistance in analyzing your damages, or the damage claims asserted against you, Asterion can help.
