Want to Learn More About Energy Efficiency and Stewardship for Our Congregation?
Our faith calls us to be caretakers of our planet, and reducing our congregation’s energy footprint is a good way to do it. The Earth Care Task Force is pleased to announce that Tennessee Interfaith Power and Light will present:

Presenters who have practical, real-world experience will conduct workshops in each of these 3 topic areas

-- Learn how to care for creation, lessen our congregation’s carbon footprint, and lower our utility bills by adopting energy efficiency measures and exercising clean energy options.
-- Learn earth-friendly uses for our church’s land

Got a truck or car you’re not using?
Westminster Home Connection is looking for a reliable truck or a car (SUV or all wheel drive) for our team. To meet the huge need among our neighbors for safe and affordable housing, Home Connection is adding staff and that means we need another vehicle!

The Wednesday morning men’s Bible Study group and John and Judi Larson have already donated a total of three trucks this year! Now we need one more truck or car. Every mile helps us make homes safer and more accessible for our neighbors. If you have a well-maintained vehicle you’re ready to donate, your gift can make a lasting difference— Tax-deductible and mission-impacting!

Together, we can keep moving forward—one mile, one home, one neighbor at a time.

Needed: Knitted and crocheters to make dishcloths and scrubbys.
For many years, a bag with a bottle of Palmolive dish soap, a knitted dishcloth, and a crocheted/knitted scrubby have been given to homes that Westminster Home Connection has worked on. The thank you notes have been heartwarming!
If you are interested in helping with this amazing project that has been going on for years, let Beth know! We will share the patterns with you!
