| Dear Postdoctoral Community,
First, I would like to thank everyone for making the Spring Postdoc Awards a success. It was exciting to see so many attend the awards ceremony and reception. It was a pleasure to gather together to celebrate the accomplishments of our community. Congratulations to our award recipients for their successes in research, mentorship, and service to the community.
I encourage you to get involved with the Vanderbilt Postdoc Association, either by attending upcoming events like the Speak Easy talk series or running for the VPA executive committee. Be on the lookout for upcoming elections including the executive committee and proposed bylaw changes.
Finally, I would like to welcome a new member to our OPA team, Annie Evans. Annie brings enthusiasm, institutional knowledge, and experience in building community. We are excited to welcome her.
As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if there is anything we can do for you or the postdoc community.

Thursdays in July from 4 – 5 PM (July 7, 14 and 21) These will be held in person on campus – location TBA
Registration opens Monday, June 18
July 7 Beyond Time Management (Progress and Productivity in Academia) July 14 Managing Up – collaborative work with your academic supervisor July 21 An introduction to Clifton Strengths
