New Ka-Band TWTAs, High-Power MPMs

At this year’s AOC event in Washington, D.C., we exhibited six high-powered products to showcase these capabilities:

dB-3758 (new) – 1000 Watts Pulsed, 9-10 GHz
dB-4410 – 300 Watts CW, 7.5-18GHz

MPMs:

dB-4127 – 200 Watts Pulsed/CW, 6-18 GHz
dB- 3758 – 1000 Watts Pulsed, 9-10 GHz
dB- 4118 – 75-100 Watts CW, 6-18 GHz

New TWT Amplifier for Ground, Mobile Radar Applications

High-frequency TWT amplifiers allow greater range because they can provide the higher power required by a sophisticated radar systems. And that’s always in demand for defense and commercial applications. Our new Ka-band TWTA is specifically designed for reliable performance in extremely harsh environments and for easy field maintenance. The dB-3709i operates in the 34.5 to 35.5 GHz frequency range and provides 700 Watts minimum peak output power at a duty cycle of up to ten percent. Encased in an environmentally-sealed package, it’s designed for outdoor and antenna pedestal-mount applications, and uses integral forced air-cooling for thermal management, ensuring reliable performance. The new dB-3709i was even featured in the “Product Spotlight” in Electronic Military and Defense Magazine and the September issue of Microwave Journal.
