The SENDCAA main office entrance is undergoing a facelift. If you need to drop anything off at our office, please use the Headstart entrance at the west side of the building. There are signs to help navigate to visitor parking, and the drop box has been moved to the west side, if you have any claims or enrollments that need to be dropped off over the summer. 

During our next review with you, we will be focusing our nutrition education on reducing the risk of choking. Everyone will be receiving a zip slicer tool that we hope will make your food prep even faster (and safer)! This is a great tool to assist in slicing grapes and cherry tomatoes.

The National CACFP Association has developed extra monthly resources to go along with your calendar. The Parent Connections monthly newsletters are ready for you to add your own info at the bottom of the page; and the activity pages contain recipes, craft activities, movement activities and more.

Looking for free training hours? Check out our website for all of the available at-home training modules. SENDCAA training hours are Growing Futures approved and free to SENDCAA providers and their staff.

Can't remember which trainings you have completed? Log in to your Growing Futures account to see all the trainings in one list. Once logged in, choose the training tab along the top to view all your approved trainings. The most recent will be at the top of the list. 

Tis the season for picnics and field trips! If you plan to be away during your meal times and enjoying a picnic off site, be sure to let your home monitor know beforehand. If a review is attempted during a scheduled meal time and no one is home those meals will be deducted if claimed. 

Child enrollments are good for one year. KidKare now alerts you when an enrollment needs to be updated. Below are a few ways to find and print the child's enrollment.

Remember to have the parent or guardian update any info that may have changed over the year; such as contact info or schedule. A parent signature and date are also required for processing.

Updates can be made with a pen on the enrollment. Send updated enrollments to your home monitor for activation. Reimbursement cannot be given for children with missing or expired enrollments. 

When submitting paperwork via email or text, be sure that it is being sent in the largest file available and that the picture is not blurry.

The best way to send a document is to scan it in so that it is converted to a PDF. If you do not have access to a scanner, Adobe has a free app that you can download to your smart phone.

This app allows you to take a picture of your document which then converts it to a PDF, from there you can email it to your home monitor. Adobe Scan and Adobe Acrobat Reader can be downloaded free to either IOS or Android phones.
