Pirate Tip of the Week: Reflect and Recharge
The end of the semester is a time to celebrate, reflect, and prepare for the next chapter.
- Celebrate Your Efforts: Acknowledge your hard work and accomplishments—whether it's finishing a challenging course or simply persevering. Treat yourself to something you enjoy, like a favorite meal or a fun activity.
-
Review Lessons Learned: Reflect on what strategies helped you succeed and where you can improve. Use this insight to refine your approach for future semesters.
- Plan Your Break: Make the most of your time off by balancing relaxation with meaningful activities; spend time with loved ones, explore hobbies, or set goals for the summer, such as internships or personal projects.
Remember that we are stronger together. Please take care of yourself and each other.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

Tip of the week from Kendra Sherman
Assistant Director of Residence Life
"Say "yes" more often! You never know which opportunity might change your life. Some of the most meaningful experiences I had in undergrad—living in Ireland for two and a half months, going on a mission trip to Jamaica, becoming an RA off the alternate list, and meeting the President of Micronesia—all happened because I chose to say yes. That simple choice continues to shape my journey even now as a professional, helping me connect with incredible people and pursue the things I'm truly passionate about."

The Department of Residence Life fosters a vibrant and inclusive residential living and learning community grounded in the University's Catholic mission. They provide students with an environment that promotes diversity and connection, personal and academic growth, and respect for one another.
"I love being a resource to students at Seton Hall. I love helping out and promoting the job to others by showcasing the good of Seton Hall. I really liked working on a team and getting to connect with my staff in a way that you don't get to connect with other SHU students."
