Dear Students,
We are updating our campus masking policy. Masks are no longer required outdoors on the Rhodes campus. Please continue to social distance while outdoors. Masking and social distancing are still required indoors in accordance with the Lynx Promise.
The college’s health and safety task force recommended this change in policy based on health and safety guidelines and campus conditions.
Distancing, masking, testing, and contact tracing remain the best defense against COVID-19. We also strongly recommend that students, faculty, and staff get vaccinated. The City of Memphis is now vaccinating all adults. I encourage you to visit covid19.memphistn.gov/vaccine or call (901)222-shot (7468) to schedule an appointment.
if you want to get vaccinated but need transportation, you can email studentlife@rhodes.edu and we can help arrange it.
It is critically important that each of us:
- Keep up with symptom monitoring and asymptomatic testing.
- Maintain a minimum of 6 ft. of social distance.
- Mask any time indoors unless you are in a private office or a residence hall room.
