Welcome back, Waverly Belmont Bulldogs!
We survived the one-week fall break, which means it’s time to transition from "lax screen-time rules" back to "where on earth is your library book?"
If your student has already forgotten how to pack a backpack or wake up before 8:00 AM, don't panic—we are all re-learning together.
Grab an extra-large coffee, double-check that your shoes match, and let’s dive into a fantastic second half of the semester!

VOLUNTEER NEEDS:
  • WHAT: BACKPACK PROGRAM FOOD-PACKING EVENT
    WHEN: Saturday, October 24th at 9:00 AM
    WHERE: WB Cafeteria

    We will have our next food-packing event of the 2026-2027 school year on Saturday, October 24th at 9:00 AM in the Waverly Belmont school cafeteria. It takes under an hour and is an excellent opportunity for a scout troop to volunteer, young children (with supervision) to participate, or older students who need service hours! 
    If you are new to this program or can't recall what it is, the PTO funds and provides weekend food bags for our students who need food and meals over the weekends. The bags are discreetly distributed on Friday mornings for the students to take home.
    We hope to see you on Saturday the 24th (the weekend after the first week back from fall break, two weeks from this weekend) at 9 AM at the school cafeteria side doors! Thank you all for the support you provide this community.

REMINDERS:
  • Please slow down, stay alert, and practice extra patience on the neighborhood roads.
  • School Time Change - Reminder that school time is adjusted. Elementary school hours will be 8:10am-3:10pm for the 26/27 school year. Students should not arrive on campus until 7:55am when doors open. There is no one on staff to supervise children prior to 7:55am.
  • School Tours - Know someone considering joining our WB Community? Please encourage them to take a tour of the school. Schedule a WB School Tour HERE.
  • Backpack Program - The Waverly Belmont Backpack Program offers a weekend supply of nutritious meals and snacks for
    students - completely free of charge.
