March 15, 2023
March is off to a great start! Our student-athletes and coaching staff have much to celebrate with recent team wins and tremendous personal successes in Cornell Athletics. Our SCL Advisory Committee continues to work on divisional values and priorities that will support the work we do individually and collaboratively to transform the student and staff experience. And as we celebrate Women’s History Month, the Women’s Resource Center begins celebrating 50 years of service to our student community.
As you may know, March is also the time of year when we uplift the many opportunities to support the student experience on Cornell Giving Day. Please stop by and support the many student events happening on March 16 and share our SCL Giving Day link with those in your communities who may want to support our work of inspiring transformation.
In the newsletter below, take a moment to read about recent staffing updates and news from around the division. Take a look at upcoming events and opportunities to connect – such as volunteering for the upcoming Dragon Day on March 31 - review reminders from our HR teams, and check out resources to support students.

Students can find quiet spaces to study, a library, menstrual products, safer sex products, couches for napping, weighted blankets, a settle chair for neurodivergent individuals and so much more! Shura and Jordan are also confidential resources. Connect with the WRC on Linktree for social media links, resources, and to schedule appointments with staff members.
