Registration is NOW OPEN.  Click here to download a registration form.  Click here to see a tentative agenda.  Additional speakers and committee meetings are currently being discussed, but are still in the planning stages.  When those plans and speakers are finalized, we will let you know.  The CTAS Internal Controls training class offered at County Government Day is the same material that is being covered in the other Internal Controls training classes currently being taught around the state.  This class is being offered to give officials an additional opportunity to participate in this very important training class for those officials who were unable to attend a class in their area.
Pursuant to P.C. 112, local government must establish and maintain internal controls.  CTAS is offering training classes through March covering Internal Controls.  For a list of the classes offered and their locations, please see below.  All classes are from 0am - 10pm local time.  Contact the CTAS Training Department to register for these classes.
The Tennessee General Assembly begins legislative session today at noon.  To live stream session, visit the General Assembly's website or click here.  TCSA will be issuing weekly updates on key legislation impacting counties through the Capitol Update and remember to read the bi-monthly newspaper, Tennessee County News for more coverage of the General Assembly..
