Upcoming Deadlines:

Log into Your Enrollment Services (YES) Portal to check your progress on several critical tasks and input your emergency contact information. Note it takes up to four days for changes in YES to appear within the portal.

Complete a release of information with Vanderbilt Medical Center so Student Care Coordination can assist if you are hospitalized, notify your emergency contact in emergencies, and support your return to academics.

Honor Code:

The Vanderbilt Honor Code serves as a cornerstone for academic integrity, fostering a culture of honesty and accountability within the university community. It entrusts students with the responsibility to complete their academic work independently, without unauthorized assistance. Upholding the Honor Code not only reinforces ethical values but also cultivates an environment conducive to genuine learning and scholarly excellence. Course Registration:

Your Enrollment Services (YES) allows you to explore the class schedule for fall 2025 and to store your class selections in a shopping cart. You will receive a registration packet from your school in late May or early June that will include the exact dates of your registration windows, information on how to match your class choices to the requirements in your school, and how to contact an adviser. Your packet will either be mailed to your home address or sent to your Vanderbilt email. You may review additional academic resources online.

Visit your school's webpage for additional information regarding course requirements, offerings, support, or specifications of course materials such as computers.

Transferring Credits:

The External Education Unit will review previous coursework for newly admitted students once official final transcripts from other institution(s) are received. Courses that are already listed in the Transfer Credit Search too l, available through Your Enrollment Services (YES), will be posted to your Vanderbilt record. Textbooks:

The Vanderbilt Bookstore makes it easy for you to get the right books for classes in a wide variety of formats, including new, used, digital (where available), rental and custom books. The bookstore also offers all the technology, school supplies, and Vandy gear you will need to start the year off right.  

Note that used books can save you 25% and textbook rental can save you up to 80% off the cost of a new printed textbook.
