The Muslim Student Association hosted a prayer vigil Friday, Oct. 13, on Tech Walkway in response to recent events in Israel and Gaza. Student leaders and community members spoke in support of students as violence in the region continues.
In a statement today, President Ángel Cabrera echoed sentiments he shared in a statement last week: “In a diverse community like ours, each of us is experiencing these events differently. Now, more than ever, we must be committed to constructive dialogue, mutual respect, care, and compassion for one another.”
Students are also encouraged to seek support through campus services, including Student Engagement and Well-Being and the Center for Mental Health Care and Resources.
