San Francisco looks at ways to address Digital Divide -- offering new data and policies
The city of San Francisco recently released a report on how the digital divide affects San Francisco residents. It included a number of policy recommendations addressing issues of Internet availability, affordability, and non-adoption, including digital training for youth, mobile device training for seniors, the possibility of a municipal broadband network, and partnerships to provide affordable internet.
