Free Half-Day Conference and Chamber New Look
NGLCCNY is proud to announce our first half-day conference focusing on creating opportunities for LGBTBEs to succeed. The Certified Supplier Success Event + M3 will occur on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 beginning at 3PM at JPMorgan Chase & Co. located on Madison Avenue. All attending LGBTBE Certified Suppliers will hear keynote speakers, panel discussions, and have the opportunity to pitch their businesses in front of a panel of judges for possible business opportunities. We will also formally launch our new look and identity as the New York hub of the NGLCC. All Certified LGBTBEs are encourage to register here for the day's events. Following the mini-conference, all members are invited to join the Members' Monthly Mixer (M3) beginning at 6PM.

Rob D'Errico: Tips for Navigating Corporate Supllier Diversity
NGLCCNY Member, Rob D'Errico, is featured in Affinity Inc. Magazine's Summer 2015 issue providing helpful tips for navigating corporate Supplier Diversity. Although no longer employed by an LGBTBE Certified business, Rob has been a committed member of NGLCCNY since 2008. He continues to support the community through the Chamber's Webinar Wednesdays allowing Members to listen and speak to high level leaders from our Corporate Partnerships.

How to do Business with NY Department of Education!
The NYC Department of Education’s (DOE) invites all NGLCCNY Members to its next “How to Do Business with the DOE” presentation will be held with the Brooklyn Small Business Development Center (SBDC) on Friday, September 25, 2015. The presentation will be held at NYC College of Technology-Howard Building, located at 25 Chapel Street, Room 411, Brooklyn, New York 11201. The event will be from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. To register, please contact SBDC@citytech.cuny.edu. MWBEs and all other prospective vendors are invited to attend.

The NGLCCNY is the New York office of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. The NGLCC is the exclusive, third-party certification body that verifies that eligible businesses are majority-owned by LGBT individuals, and subsequently grants LGBT Business Enterprise® (LGBTBE®) designation to such businesses as part of its LGBT Supplier Diversity Initiative.
