Before we share our typical Echo newsletter, we want to take a moment to share with you what we are doing at your Clemson Alumni Association to keep you connected to Clemson. Now more than ever, it is important that the Clemson Family stay connected as a community. Though we are not able to gather in person, we recognize how powerful it can be for us to come together virtually to support and learn from each other.

John McKenzie McIntosh
John McKenzie McIntosh of Columbia was noted for his “ready wit and congenial nature” according to the 1914 edition of Taps.
“Mc” McIntosh came to Clemson Agricultural College when the campus was still new, arriving in the late summer of 1910 as a member of the Class of 1914. Mc, who wanted to be a chemist, pursued a double major in chemistry and agriculture.

Clemson and South Carolina Help with Innovative Medical Device
Prisma Health announced an innovation by its team that will help hospitals across the country that are strapped for medical equipment during the coronavirus outbreak. Engineers at Clemson University and University of South Carolina used 3-D printing to produce prototypes of the device.

Alumnus Tim Garrison, an experienced attorney and academic, will advise students interested in law careers. The new program initiated by CAAH will serve students from any major or college at Clemson.
