Check out what's new, Coach!
|
We're counting down to the National Tournament. Are you? Maybe you're counting down to vacation—or simply to the weekend! Whatever your future holds, we want to thank you for your volunteer leadership this year.
If you are joining us at Nationals, please plan to attend the District Leadership Reception from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET at the Kentucky Expo Center. During this reception, District Committee members are invited to join national office staff and Board members for a tournament welcome, distribution of district awards, and social connection.

Help Us Recruit Final Round Judges for Nats!
|
Please help us create the best late elimination round judging pool possible for your students!
We’ve learned that many judges feel they won’t be considered for these rounds because they don’t have a certain number of diamonds or they haven’t reached a specific level of competitive success. That is where you can help! In order to qualify as a late-elimination round judge, a judge must:
- Have at least two years of experience coaching, judging, and/or competing in the specific event they are being nominated.
- Plan to be at the tournament on Thursday, June 16, and Friday, June 17, when final rounds are being held.
- Understand they will be compensated $20 for judging a final round, which is above and beyond their school’s judging obligation.
Who are judges that you know are qualified and would do an excellent job judging? Please intentionally and personally reach out to those judges and encourage them to complete the form. Your encouragement may be the boost in confidence that they need!

Nationals Registration Deadline this Sunday
|
Registration materials, including entry details, judges, and payment are due on May 15 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Please double check your registration by logging in to Tabroom.com. Issues will be flagged with a red “X” in the Status column on the General tab. Additionally, each of your school's attendees (students, coaches, judges, chaperones, parents, etc.) must have at least initiated the COVID-19 vaccine verification process by May 15. They will continue to be marked as incomplete in Tabroom.com if they are due for an additional dose or booster before the tournament, or if they received an exemption and are required to upload a negative test in June. Learn more about how to complete the registration process in this webinar.
