Named after the famous Mexican horsemen, the El Charro Cafe was founded by Tia Monica Flin right here in Tucson way back in 1922 and still operates to this day as America's oldest Mexican Restaurant in continuous operation. But El Charro was just the beginning as the newest member of the Charro family is close to celebrating its third year on the downtown Tucson culinary scene.
