Club Leader Updates

The 4-H Food Stand has been requested for a large event at Fair Park this Sunday, February 25.

The 4-H Food Stand needs help -- both youth and adults -- between the hours of 6:30am to 2:30pm. Please contact Agnes Wagner at 414-881-3919 or dayupper@frontier.com for more information or to sign up.

The Downtown West Bend Association (DWBA) updated their host group paperwork for the 2024 season. If your club would like to host at the Farmers Market in West Bend, please fill out the group application that can be found on their webpage (great photo of Boltonville Firecrackers!!):  https://www.westbendfarmersmarket.com/host-group.html

You will be able to make note of what Saturdays work best for your group. Please return the application form by March 8 to Tomasa, the DWBA Events Coordinator, at events@downtownwestbend.com.

We are excited to announce a new orientation training that replaces VIP: Grow Green. Grow Green is a self-paced, online course covering roles & responsibilities, best practices, and how to create positive and safe learning environments for youth in Wisconsin 4-H. While all new volunteers will need take this course once (similar to VIP), anyone is welcome to take this course at anytime. 

Training Details:

Mobile-friendly—This interactive series adjusts for any device. It works best on a computer or laptop.

Sound—Some sections include short videos with sound. Closed captions are available.

Accessibility— Select “Click to hear this page read out loud” at the top of each screen for narration. The training is also accessible for most screen readers.

Time—Plan for each of the four module to take about 15-20  minutes. If you need to stop, pick up where you left off.
