  • SAT WeekendI would encourage each of our juniors to register for the March 12 SAT before the February 11 deadline to avoid late fees. Students typically take the SAT in the spring of their junior year, and then again in the fall of their senior year (which we will do on campus).

  • SAT Practice Kickoff Week - Students can prepare for the spring 2022 SAT administrations during SAT Practice Kickoff Week, February 14–18. Juniors who start SAT practice could win a $40,000 BigFuture® Scholarship for their efforts! In this presentation for educators, learn about the benefits of Official SAT Practice and how students can link their College Board and Khan Academy accounts.

  • Junior Workshop - Information coming soon about this information night for both parents and students.  Learn about what to expect and how to plan the end of your junior year and into your senior year.  Watch your email for more details.

  • Can a Junior in High School apply for merit scholarship? While many private scholarships are only open to high school seniors or college undergrads, there are plenty of private merit awards high school juniors can apply for. Some of these are from nonprofit organizations and private businesses. They are targeted directly to high school juniors, but others are open to candidates in a wide age range. • Community involvement: Now is the time to get involved!  Find a spot to volunteer and start being consistent with your volunteer time.  Don't forget to document your hours in the high school office!  You won't regret spending the time in your community as well as building your resume for college.

  • Finish the semester strong! We all get tired this time of year, but you can do it!  Take the time to finish the semester strong.

  • College Visits already? It's never too early in my mind to start visiting colleges, especially if they are out of state.  Now is a great time to start looking at some options that you might be interested in and work with your family to plan college visits into family vacations or maybe even a week of just visits!
