Hi Friend:
Hoping you have been having a fun summer.  It sure has been busy here at Rescue K911, but we wanted to take just a moment to let you know of some of the great things that have been happening.
It was our hope and prayer that Lady, one of our recent rescues, would be adopted and being heartworm positive, that she would have a home to recover in after her treatment, and that is exactly what happened.  The Holloway family drove all the way from Georgia to meet Lady.  They fell in love with her, adopted her and waited patiently for her as she went through her treatments.  They opened their home to her, giving her a loving home to recover in.  We hear she is doing well and is greatly loved.  Thank you dear Holloway Family!

Cletus is our most recent rescue.  He was found abandoned on Lake Martin.  He is approx 3 months old and a lovable hound dog.  Full of love and play.  Loves to be held and would stay in your lap all day if possible.  For more information on Cletus:https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/29621533/

Summertime seems to always find us at our greatest need of finances and support and we appreciate you, dear friend, for continuing to remember us and for helping us along.
Thank you for helping the homeless!

Helping hands are always needed and so very appreciated here at Rescue.  We love our volunteers and love it when special groups come out to help.
Our own grandchildren, Hunter, Kelsey and Kaylin, came out to spend a week with us.  They just jumped right in, cleaning, scooping, feeding, etc.  They were a wonderful help and Grandma and Grandpa could not be more proud!
What a wonderful group, Kids in Christ.  They came out and gave of their hearts and helping hands.  What a blessing! Thank you!
Special thanks to the Rising Seniors of Lee-Scott Academy.  They came out to volunteer and Candace chose us as her charity.  Thank you!
Update on Mabel.  Mabel is doing very well.  She has put on weight and the doctors beleive she is strong enough now to have the mass on her leg removed. She is a happy girl and greets us each morning with a wagging tail.
