By popular request, OGSAF is excited to announce we are hosting a second Graduate Fellowship Application Night! This event will be offered both online and in-person.
Are you interested in finding external funding for your graduate program but don't know where to start? Trying to find the time to start a fellowship application? Have a scholarship application draft you'd like peer feedback on?
The event will feature the Office of Graduate Student Assistantships & Fellowships (OGSAF) and the GW Writing Center providing information about their services. These presentations will be followed by workshop time for students to look for funding opportunities and work on their applications.
*Please note if you attended the first event on 9/26, the presentations will be the same. You are still welcome to join for the workshop time.

Event open to postdocs and PhD students (in-person spots are limited)

Dr. Bob Lowman, our guest presenter, will cover the essential vocabulary of grant writing, the components of a strong idea, how to construct effective project teams, budgeting strategies, and merit review, among other key topics. These sessions are intended for individuals with little or no experience in grant writing and are interested in gaining a comprehensive understanding of the entire process.

The Boren Fellowship funds up to $30,000 for language study, research, or internships abroad. The fellowship supports U.S. citizens planning to learn a critical language and study in a country outside of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
