The faculty and staff at Portland State University have navigated unanticipated and monumental challenges over the past year, and we are prouder than ever of the PSU community. It is vitally important that we take the time to recognize those among us who have truly achieved great work and who inspire us all to continue to strive.
Academic Affairs holds annual nominations for Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards to acknowledge individuals who have achieved outstanding scholarship accomplishments at Portland State University. These awards are one example of how we honor, recognize and incentivize the ongoing excellence of PSU faculty and staff, both through scholarship and dedication to PSU students.

Nomination Process
Nominations for all Excellence Awards are to be emailed to excellence-awards@pdx.edu by the due dates listed below. Please place the name of the Excellence Award that you are nominating for in the subject line of the email. Nomination materials will include an official cover page that can be downloaded from the PSU Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards webpage where the award descriptions are also available. Both a Word and fillable .pdf version are available. The call for nominations will be available between the first Monday in January (January 4, 2021) and the second Friday in February (February 12, 2021). All completed applications submitted by the second Friday in February (February 12, 2021) will be considered eligible for review.
