SUMMARY of the JUNE 21 PARK CITY COUNCIL MEETING
IN THE WORK SESSION
FY19 Budget: Council did not receive any additional public comment on the budget or the Treasure Hill bond amount that they have been discussing for weeks and encouraging public input on. They made no changes to the proposed budget, except to adjust the final Special Service Contract allocation amounts to $30,000 for Summit County Arts Council ($15,000 for cultural tourism and artist marketing, $15,000 for Project ABC implementation) and $20,000 to Park City Education Foundation’s Bright Futures program.
Community Vision 2020: Council agreed that when conducting the visioning outreach, the questions should start from scratch instead of building on the core values currently in place. They want to track responses from residents, employees, and businesses over the proposed 18-month process timeline.
3Kings Water Treatment Plant Schematic Design: Council received an update on the project’s public outreach plan. More information about the project can be found here. Additional discussions were held on the community input to-date.
