Hire and Pay Action Deadlines
- Spring term 2025 renewal RTOs with a March 16 start date are due to HR Operations by February 3.
- Other renewals and pay actions taking effect in March are due on February 14.
- Sabbatical applications for 2025-26 are due January 31.
Other personnel and pay deadlines:
Be up front with your employees whose pay may be delayed. Communicating early will help manage expectations.

Updates, News, Requests, and Reminders
New summer term ePRF coming: We are working with colleagues in Information Services on an ePRF for summer term appointments, which will replace our current summer term appointment processes. More to come soon!
Workplace Harassment and Discrimination Prevention training: The deadline for faculty, classified staff, officers of administration, and graduate employees is January 29, 2025 (or 90 days from hire). Many employees have not met this requirement, so we appreciate your help in encouraging everyone to complete the training by January 29.
UO Leadership Academy 2025-26 applications due January 24: The academy creates an engaged learning environment for mid-career academic and administrative leaders, empowering them to address complex challenges and lead from where they are. For more information and the application, see the Office of the Provost webpage.
FYI Fridays proposals: Do you have a resource, a tool, or an experience to share? Something that would be interesting or helpful to UO faculty, staff, and graduate/student employees? We would love to hear about it. We're looking for several more presenters for winter and spring terms. Learn more or suggest a presentation.
Reminder: New student hiring forms: There is a new SEF, and it requires the job title and supervisor. For student employment exception requests, use this new form. Exception requests are now handled by Employee and Labor Relations.
Reminder: Reclassifying research faculty from pro tem to career: is now done in MyTrack (instructions).

How much do you pay for your PEBB benefits each month? Find out on the HR website. We've updated the faculty/staff contribution rates for 2025.
1095-C forms arriving soon: PEBB will send the 2024 1095-C, Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage, to applicable employees by March 3. While the information on these forms may assist in preparing a tax return, they are not required. Individual taxpayers should not wait for these forms and should file their returns as they normally would.
