Dear Alumni,
The entrepreneurial spirit is thriving at Endicott College, and it is impressive to see firsthand our students realizing their potential in the classroom and beyond. Among our goals in the Colin & Erika Angle Center for Entrepreneurship is to establish the center as a resource to the broader Endicott community. It would be an honor to hear from you, our alumni, about your entrepreneurial endeavors and to share that you always have a sounding board here at the Nest for your innovative ideas.
Our annual student and alumni entrepreneur pitch competition, SparkTank, is almost upon us! With the support of the Cummings Foundation and TD Bank, we are in our eighth year of competition. It has been amazing to see how inventive, talented, and determined our students and alumni are as they pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. We are offering three “start-up” seed funding prizes, ranging from $10,000 to $2,000, making our competition one of the richest north of Boston.
This year, contestants will pitch business ideas in a variety of industries—from engineering to graphic design, from hospitality to computer science. The cross-functionality of disciplines is exactly what we are pursuing, that is, to build an entrepreneurial ecosystem here at Endicott. We use the saying that it is “great to have unlike minds in the room working on all sorts of solutions—you never know where the idea will come from, and there is power in that!”
I hope you will Zoom in to hear the live contestant pitches on Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 5–7 p.m. Please register by emailing Will Genaway, Graduate Assistant.

Alumni Engagement Feature: Endicott Business Referral Network
| |
For professionals in referral-based industries, a client recommendation from a trusted colleague is like gold. As members of the Endicott Business Referral Network, Endicott College alumni have a chance to provide just this sort of mutual support, while also reaping the benefits of traditional networking. Led by Garett Seney '10 and Tyler Johnson '18, Endicott's Business Referral Network is looking for new members.
Membership in the group is limited to one person per industry. Businesses currently represented in the group include real estate, mortgage, financial planning, event planning, law, insurance, design, acupuncture, custodial services, and more. The group meets monthly on campus with opportunities to attend virtually. Please contact Chrissy Dahlheimer at cdahlhei@endicott.edu for more information.
