TeamBirth comes to Tennessee!

TeamBirth national trainers joined us in Tennessee for two in person workshops to help support our TIPQC teams taking part in this initiative.

TeamBirth focuses on enhancing communication and teamwork during the childbirth experience by centering the patient in their care to promote autonomy and shared decision making.

We are so honored to bring TeamBirth to Tennessee to further our mission of improving maternal and infant health outcomes!

Maternal Mental Health State Report Card

In 2024, three new measures have been introduced, one replaced, one paused, and two supplemented. Learn more about where TN ranks for maternal mental health.

TennCare Update:

Diapers and Additional Coverage Approved!

TennCare will become the first Medicaid agency in the nation to cover the cost of diapers (up to 100 diapers per month) for TennCare and CoverKids members under the age of two, starting August 2024.
