The Department of Health Care Services and CalOptima are postponing the implementation of the Whole Child Model in Orange County until "no sooner than July 1, 2019" to allow additional time for CalOptima to ensure it has an adequate CCS-paneled provider network. CCS-eligible members enrolled in CalOptima will continue to receive services for CCS-conditions through the county CCS program for now. The delay in implementation for CalOptima does not affect Partnership Health Plan’s scheduled implementation date, which remains January 1, 2019. Contact CCSredesign@dhcs.ca.gov with questions.
