Fostering a Positive Workplace Culture

OEO is partnering with UHR’s Level up with LEAD professional development program this spring to provide three new online offerings, called “Best Practices for A Positive Workplace Culture.”

Each webinar will focus on understanding a different aspect of workplace culture from the interpersonal to the organizational.

Federal Updates

As you have heard, several executive orders have recently been issued by the White House, including some that may have implications related to equal opportunity and affirmative action. At the time of this newsletter, we are awaiting guidance from relevant federal and state agencies, the UNC System Office and the Office of State Human Resources. As more detailed information and guidance is available, we will continue to review and address the details and provide the university community with relevant updates. In the meantime, if you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to our office for guidance and support.

Access, Belonging and Culture (ABC) Community of Practice
The ABC Community of Practice has a new monthly meeting time (noon – 1 p.m., second Tuesday of each month). This group communicates via a Google Group to share resources like news and events and to pose questions for advice and connection.
