Product Lines Affected: SETC - Steam Exchange Humidifier
|
Following a strategic review of our product portfolio, Condair is implementing targeted adjustments to optimize product alignment with market demand and long-term growth objectives.
As part of this review, Condair has elected to discontinue the SETC Outdoor steam exchange humidifier models. This action is driven by low sales volume and reduced market demand for outdoor configurations. This decision supports our broader initiative to streamline our product range and focus on core technologies that deliver the greatest value to our customers and partners.
The SETC Indoor models remain available and fully supported.
|
Lead Times
Effective immediately (February 20, 2026), the lead time for all SETC units both indoor and outdoor is standardized at 10 weeks. Existing orders already in process will not be affected.
For all future quick-ship requests, please contact: na.inquiries@condair.com
Final Order Acceptance for SETC Outdoor Models
Purchase orders will be accepted until April 30th, 2026 with a delivery date prior to July 31st, 2026. No SETC outdoor models will be delivered after July 31st, 2026.
| Outdoor Installation Considerations
|
If an application requires installation of a steam‑exchange humidifier outdoors, customers may continue to use the SETC Indoor model under the following conditions:
Condair SETC indoor models are engineered for operation in ambient temperatures of 41–104 °F (5–40 °C) and relative humidity levels of 5–95% (non‑condensing). Although these units are designed for indoor environments, they may be installed outdoors when housed within a properly rated enclosure that provides protection from the environment and consistently maintains the required operating conditions.
For optimal performance, the humidifier should be installed as close as possible to the steam distributor. Excessive steam line length will result in reduced net output due to heat loss through the steam piping.
