A NOTE FROM VC SATTERLUND |
Dear Student Affairs and Campus Life Colleagues and Friends,
I recognize spring is a time of change, and the transformations in our world over recent weeks can seem disorienting. However, I am deeply grateful for how our teams and partners continue to respond with compassion and expertise, which provides our students a sense of stability and support.
If I may, I want to briefly shout out a few of you who, over the last several weeks, have continued to go above and beyond to ensure student safety, support and success.
Our good colleagues at Undocumented Student Services and International Services and Engagement Office have done a tremendous job preparing our community and reacting to rapidly evolving conditions with the utmost professionalism.
I also want to recognize the good folks in the Center for Student Involvement in preparing and planning for a busy spring quarter. Lastly, let’s celebrate Athletics and Recreation professional team members for all the behind the scenes work required to support the dual historic basketball seasons.
The work of supporting our students to achieve success through changing times never ends and I feel fortunate to be doing this work with you all.
