Steenberg Harvest Update & Tank Tastings

Harvest 2016 is well on its way here at Steenberg. We have harvested almost all of our white grapes with just our red grapes left to pick. Our Cellar Team is working very hard - averaging 40 hours of overtime per week. To date, we have processed 840 tonnes of grapes with the quality looking outstanding - we are very excited for what this vintage will bring once matured & bottled. 
#TankTastingTuesdays: Join us this March on Tuesday the 1st, 8th & 15th for complimentary tank tastings. Taste the 2016 vintage & follow its journey through the vinification process. Wine Pairing Menu at Catharina's

At Catharina's, we have launched a Wine Pairing Menu with flavourful & delicious dishes that will surely delight your senses. This menu can be enjoyed as a 5 or 7 course meal with beautiful dishes to choose from such as our Asparagus Salad with peas, poached egg, goats' feta croquette, quinoa, sunflower seeds & mustard vinaigrette or our Lamb Rack with walnut & parsley crust,  summer vegetables, gem squash purée, mushroom croquette & thyme scented jus.
A 5 course meal is R920 per person & a 7 course meal is R1250 per person, this includes a glass of wine with each course. Our Wine Pairing Menu can be booked for a minimum of 12 guests & we require 72 hours advance booking. Our current menu is subject to change due to seasonal availability of produce.
