Message from the Interim Director of Extension

As we close out 2022, I wanted to let you all know that we notice and appreciate it. We notice all the work no one sees before the workshop. Getting the snacks, and the drinks, ordering the food and arranging the room. The setting up the video and ensuring the Zoom is working properly and getting the coffee maker going before anyone arrives. We notice and appreciate the breakdown, the cleanup and leaving the room cleaner than you found it. The late nights, the early mornings, the weekends, and working through lunch. And the office staff and business office that always come through when you need a hand. We notice it and it is greatly appreciated. I feel like we do so much that our stakeholders don’t see, and although they may not say it, I’ll say it – thank you all. It is time to take a few days to decompress and spend some time with friends and family. Otis and Garfield will be getting morning and evening walks – for them it’s the best of times (for me too)! Happy holidays and have a safe and celebrated New Year and we will see you in 2023. All the best from your State Extension staff.

Happy Holidays

Look for the next Tuesday Extension Notes on January 10, 2023.
