Meet a Mav: Patrick Wilson
|
UTA has hired Patrick Wilson as vice provost for online learning and academic innovation. He will lead the Division of Academic Innovation, where his work will focus on the intersection of technology and student success. Dr. Wilson assumes his new position at UTA on Aug. 1. Read more.

New master's program available for 2025-26
|
The Master of Multidisciplinary Studies (MMS) provides students the opportunity to earn a graduate degree that builds marketable skills and knowledge in two or more complementary fields of study. The MMS is a 30-hour graduate degree in which students are required to complete a graduate certificate program (9-15 hours), combined with additional coursework in one or more other disciplines, including the option of obtaining a second certificate. The program is flexible, allowing graduate certificates and courses to be combined to provide individualized pathways for reskilling and upskilling and is intended for students to build upon prior education and provide combinations of learning experiences that are not provided by graduate degrees in a single field of study. 2025 Maverick Stampede: Bienvenida!
|
Maverick Stampede is less than a month away and Maverick Stampede Bienvenida is looking for volunteers to make the celebration a success. Bienvenida will be held Saturday, Aug. 16, from 5-7 p.m. at the UC Rio Grande Ballroom. If you're interested, please register and select the spots your would prefer. Bienvenida is hosted by the Department of Hispanic Serving Institution Initiatives, the Center for Mexican American studies, the Intercultural Student Engagement Center, and UTA Student Success.
