RTSWS Leaders Join New York Events |

We appreciate Chai Ventures including us in summer events exploring the intersection of art and investing and amplifying women’s voices in the conversation. RTSWS Founder Maura Cunningham joined board members Rajiv Kapoor and Penny Novick to discuss building stronger networks for women in finance.
Surrounded by powerful artwork, speakers shared that investing goes beyond capital. It is also about community, culture and creating spaces where women are visible and valued. Maura highlighted how access and visibility open doors for future generations, while Rajiv spoke to the importance of strong ecosystems and culture in closing gender gaps.

A Day in the Life: Tafadzwa Chanakira |
We're proud to debut our new video initiative: Invest Your Time with Investors, a dynamic series providing students with real-world insight into key financial roles.
Led by our CEO, Ashley Leftwich, the series features:
- Fireside Chats
- Day in the Life Spotlights
- Industry Panels
Each session is created to spark student interest, expand career awareness, and provide direct access to professionals who are advancing today’s capital markets. Videos are featured in the RTSWS Career Center, available to students across the US and around the world.
This week, we are excited to launch the series with a Day in the Life video featuring Tafadzwa Chanakira, a Trader and Assistant Portfolio Manager at Vanguard. Taf shares how a childhood fascination with market tickers and watching her uncle on TV evolved into a thriving career built on analytical thinking, collaboration, and strategic decision-making.
More stories, more voices, and more career pathways are coming soon.
