OVERVIEW

The Condair RS Series resistive element humidifiers are designed to deliver steam efficiently and effectively across a diverse range of water conditions. With the innovative scale management system and high precision solid state relays it offers customers exceptional flexibility and reliability across a broad range of applications.   

Over the past few months, we have been diligently working on enhancing the RS housing, controls hardware, and model lineup. We are excited to share that these upgrades will be launching later this summer.  

This communication is to inform you about upcoming changes to the product, as well as the expected plan to transition from the current RS. 

NEW HOUSING DESIGN

The Condair RS is the next product to be refreshed with our new corporate styling, following the DL. The revised design features several improvements: 

The new design is similarly sized to previous model, however please note that the width and depth have changed compared to the previous model as shown in the table below: 

Please take into consideration the new unit sizes when planning projects moving forward.

NEXT GENERATION CONTROL HARDWARE

Our next-generation integrated controller features state-of-the-art hardware and software, and a wealth of new features including:  

IoT-connected units can also benefit from remote support by Condair Service. Look out for more information on the new RS service offerings featuring IoT remote service in the coming months. 

REVISED MODEL LINEUP

We are also pleased to announce that we have simplified the model lineup by standardizing the high precision (solid state relay) option across all models.  This improvement greatly improves modulation compared with our previous basic models and provides a unique selling point against the competition.  When paired with a high accuracy humidistat and a stable temperature this enables the humidifier to maintain +/- 1% RH control accuracy.  

PHASE-OUT CURRENT RS

RS humidifiers will continue to be supplied with the existing housing and controller until the market launch of the new design, targeted for September. Additional information regarding the exact phase-in and phase-out dates will be provided based on stock levels and depletion rates as we approach the switchover. 

UPDATES TO OPTIONS AND ACCESSORY

With the next-generation RS controls hardware, the Accessory Board option is no longer required and will be discontinued. Other options from the current RS will remain available with the new design. 

SPARE PARTS

Many spare parts from the existing design will be compatible with the new RS model. However, certain parts, such as the front cover and the integrated controller, will change. A revised spare parts list will be published at the launch of the new RS.
