The National Day of Silence (April 12) is a student-led movement to protest bullying and harassment of LGBTQ+ students and allies. The Day of Silence brings awareness and illustrates how intimidation, name-calling, and general bullying have a silencing effect. Seton Hall PRIDE is a student organization dedicated to Seton Hall’s LGBTQ+ community that is open to all students and aims to create a safe and inclusive space for both the LGBTQ+ students and allies.

- Vaisakhi (Baisakhi), which is celebrated on April 13, is a spring festival which celebrates the year when Sikhism was born as a collective faith.

The Ultimate Eid Heart Party
On April 13, join South Orange and Maplewood for “the most spectacular Eid party of the year.” This event will host traditional halal fun and a wide range of exciting activities.

The Gold Workshops and Hafla
An event featuring vendors, belly dance workshops and a showcase of amazing performers will be hosted on April 13.

SOMA Celebrates Neurodiversity
On April 15, the Baird Recreation Center will host a reading and book signing event with Autistic Author & Advocate Tiffany Hammond, the author of the #1 New York Times bestselling picture book and Dolly Gray Award winner, “A Day With No Words.”
